Touch screen solutions for healthcare
Evergreen was tightly constrained, and had to deliver everything we wanted within strict technical and graphic parameters.
The experience was completely trauma free. There were no teething troubles and the site worked perfectly when it went live, on time and within budget.
Roger Everitt, M.D.
Savience is a touch screen technology specialist with specific expertise in health service patient check in. When recent rebranding required a new website Savience looked for a web partner who would contribute to a multi-disciplinary team working within strict design and budget constraints. Evergreen was selected on recommendation, and based on their input to an earlier web project. Roger Everitt, managing director of Savience, takes up the story.
'From first contact the Evergreen team was attentive and really listened to our needs. As participants in the rebranding, they worked closely with the other consultants tasked with design and content for the brand. The new site has to reflect our professionalism and be an engaging gateway for customers. As a potential customer's first experience of Savience it has to be a positive event that gives all the right messages about our brand.'
'They always worked within the brief without trying to bend it to suit them'
Asked to describe the challenges facing Evergreen, Everitt highlights the responsibility of working with the two other consultancies: 'Evergreen was tightly constrained, and had to deliver everything we wanted within strict technical and graphic parameters. They were great; they listened hard, understood fast, and contributed confidently to the development process. Best of all, they always worked within the brief without trying to bend it to suit their way of thinking. They just found a way of delivering everything we wanted, which was a huge help.'
With the site now live, Everitt is clear about the benefits to Savience. 'It's an integral part of our transformed brand and beautifully reflects the look of our products in the field. The new site is a source of great confidence to Savience and its customers. We're very happy.'
The experience was completely trauma free
Probing even the best working relationships often uncovers teething troubles. Indeed, one measure of a supplier's capability is how they overcome such glitches. In this case, however, any attempt to draw Everitt on this brings just another vote of confidence: 'The experience was completely trauma free. There were no teething troubles and the site worked perfectly when it went live, on time and within budget.'
Astonishing value for money and consistent professionalism
'They delivered astonishing value for money,' says Everitt, 'and were consistently professional. Since the site went live we've needed to make a couple of changes and they've always been readily available - an unflappable team that just gets on with what you need and never makes a crisis out of anything.'
For a business that puts so much store in working in close partnership with its customers, reaction to the new site was eagerly awaited. Everitt describes the response with characteristic decisiveness: Everyone really likes it; we haven't had any negative feedback. The website is attractive and has a simple elegance. It loads fast and the back-end CMS is very easy for our PR team to use to keep our customers updated.'
'A small, innovative company that listens and delivers'
On the subject of the single most memorable incident of the relationship with Evergreen, Everitt comments again about the absence of any trauma. It says everything that Savience has already recommended Evergreen and will happily do so in future. It's a wonderful endorsement for a business that Roger Everitt sums up as 'A small, innovative company that listens and delivers. And I'd like to see what they could do if they weren't constrained by such a strict brief' he adds, 'I hope we'll be able to give them the opportunity - I know we'll be impressed.'
