Looking to work in an exciting, expanding agency in a great location?

We are an independent Website Design and Web database consultancy, currently looking to recruit a talented Web Programmer/Developer (PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS), to join our team.

This role is based in our stylish offices located in the idyllic location of Charfield, which is commutable from Bristol, Bath, Cheltenham and Gloucester.

All our work is carried out in-house and we have an enthusiastic, professional team. As a PHP Programmer/Developer you will be involved in a range of projects including developing web applications and websites for a range of customers across multiple industries.

We are looking for individuals who have relevant experience, ideally working in a web-development environment, preferably in a small company managing their own projects and clients.

Applicants must have excellent communication and customer management skills, and be able to demonstrate experience in pre-sales work, proposal writing and winning fee-paying work.

We operate in a unique creative and commercial environment. Competent project management, creative flair and outstanding customer skills are all hallmarks of our team.
This role is a senior role which will be involved in supporting the development of the business. We pride ourselves in balancing a great environment to work (including social events) with a professional environment where all our employees can thrive.

Along with your programming or developing experience, as a PHP Programmer/Developer you should have solid understanding of the following:

  • PHP
  • MySQL
  • HTML
  • CSS
  • Web standards
  • SEO

As a PHP Programmer/Developer you will also need an understanding of relational databases and the ability to write clear, clean code.

Although not essential, knowledge of any of the following would be beneficial: JavaScript, AJAX, and/or experience of LAMP administration.
